Request for Help and Support for Krista Hayes
November 14, 2009 - 3 minutes readCompassionate Ministries is asking for your prayers and support for Krista Hayes. Please read more about her story, and consider helping her.
We know God has many people who are willing to help support this sister in Christ and her children until she can get back on her feet. Krista and her family live in La Mesa, CA.

We are asking the church body to help us, help this needy family during this time of financial difficulty. If you have opportunity, please consider volunteering your time to help with housekeeping, shopping, etc. as Krista is physically unable to perform everyday tasks, especially as she endures through chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Her children are ages: 5, 11, and 15. The father of the children has moved back in with the family and supporting Krista and the kids the best he can. Unfortunately, his income is not enough to pay the rent, buy food, utilities, etc.
This family is in serious financial need to keep the basic necessities in place.

A sister from Jamul Community Church, Jacquie Johnson wrote:
Krista, who now has stage 2 lymphoma, just had 3 hrs. of chemo yesterday and had her left lung drained of fluid from her pneumonia. She is running 104 degrees today and has lost 15 lbs. as a result of loss of appetite in the past couple of weeks. She is on 3 antibiotics and an antiviral and is frightened because of the things the doctor is telling her. Please pray that she will improve greatly and fast for her and her children’s sake. Plus she is in desperate need of resources to help her with her rent, utilities and of course food for her and her 3 children!
May God use many in the Church body to help meet the needs of this suffering family.
With her being this sick, I am sure she can use just about anything you can offer, whether it is just your time, donations, or a prayer.
If you would like donate financially, CMPPS is willing to help, and all donations made through us are tax deductible.
