REACHING OUT TO THE POOR AND HOMELESS

We are excited about our December 11 outreach to the poor and homeless. Please continue to pray for wisdom and grace as we prepare and organize. As always we invite those who want to volunteer to come and serve those in need. May we truly be Christ to those that come searching for basic necessities. May we also pray for many to respond to the call of God through our outreach efforts.

Many thanks to those who have helped quarter after quarter to make reaching out to the poor a reality that demonstrates our faith in action. May our gracious God continue to work through us to love those most in need. The brothers and sisters at Mt. View Bible Church have partnered with us from the very beginning and we are very thankful for their ongoing love and support. Joined together, God makes it all happen, PRAISE OUR GOD!

We are permitted for the same location at Balboa Park. Heading downtown on the 94 west to 5 north to sixth street exit. We are off sixth street and Laurel. Going into the park Laurel becomes El Prado. Go right onto Balboa drive and it loops around (Marston loop) and becomes 8th street. There we set up around 0730-0800. Finally, for those who can attend our sorting and planning meeting we plan on getting together at Mt. View Bible Church on Friday Dec 10 from 4:00 to 6:30ish.

This pre event meeting is invaluable for getting organized and strategy in serving many poor and homeless folks in one place. Please consider attending and giving a hand sorting through the donations. We will plan on having pizza or something good to eat and drink. It is also a great time of fellowship and sharing. Mt.
