Quarterly Outreach to the Poor –Date Change Confirmed

We are planning for December 11, 2010 for our next Balboa Park Outreach. This is the second Saturday of the month. First and foremost please pray pray pray that our Lord leads the way as we go and reach out to folks with the gospel message. If you have a daily prayer list please put us on it. If you do not have a list of folks that you are praying for, now is a great time to start. We appreciate it very much (Eph 6:18).

My prayer as I write is that you are connected or in process of connecting, becoming transparent with other believers through your local church. It is essential that we as believers are growing in relationship with our God and with each other. God (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) loves, teaches, nurtures, keeps us accountable, through other believers.

I encourage you to get connected through a small group identified through your local church. I am certain that loving others and being loved by others is God’s will for every believer (John 14:15-21; 15:12-14).

Serving the Poor: We are collecting donations. If you have clothing, jackets, socks, shoes, blankets, etc. you’d like to donate to help those in need, give us a call or email to arrange pickup or delivery. We have locations in both San Diego and Alpine.

Big demand items are backpacks, sleeping bags, and blankets. If you’d like to give a monetary donation toward the purchase of these items that is okay too.

Please let others know about our December 11, 2010 outreach and how they can help by donating mildly used clothing to our ministry.
