Public Service Organization
July 28, 2013 - 2 minutes readWe very much appreciate folks helping us financially, which helps us continue to fulfill our mission to help others in need. For example, we have been contacted by many struggling individuals and many with family responsibilities who have been out of work and their unemployment benefits are coming to an end.
To curb homelessness and ensure basics needs are met for the working poor, people in transition, etc., we need your financial support. Our ongoing desire and mission is to be able to help families and individuals as much as we reasonable can to meet basic needs and experience a better quality of life through our efforts. Your in-kind and financial donations help with this type of support for those in need.
Moreover, your financial support also helps provide for transportation expense. For example, bus passes, gasoline, or even helping someone get their vehicle serviced to ensure they can get back and forth to work, etc.,
We strive to use wisdom and discernment and always strive to be good stewards with the resources we have, especially financial support from the public.
Finally, we do have an ongoing surety bond expense, which breaks down to about $125 a month. If you agree that our efforts are good for the community as a whole and specifically families who need a little help with their vehicle, or a months rent, a deposit, or groceries for a week, please consider financially supporting our efforts.
Asking for financial support during these rough economic times is always a struggle. However, I do ask from those who have the resources on behalf of those who struggle to make ends meet. All donations are tax-deductible.
WE ARE A PUBLIC SERVICE ORGANIZATON. THEREFORE, OUR GOVERNING DOCUMENTS, CONFLICT OF INTEREST POLICY, AND FINANCIAL STATEMENTS ARE AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC DURING THE YEAR. CONTACT US TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT TO REVIEW AND DISCUSS ALL OR ANY OF THESE AREAS OF OPERATION.
