Prayer Unceasing Together:). August 26, 2014
August 26, 2014 - 6 minutes readBrothers and Sisters,
How desperately WE need to pray pray pray for each other, filled with the Spirit, crying out to our gracious God for discernment, especially as we pursue humility and love in every context: relationships, workplace, family, church… I desperately need to be empowered to sense God’s lead.
His conviction, affirmation, …. knowing through our supernatural relationship, IN CHRIST, how to transcend the norm, especially when God orchestrates, moves, directs… I pray for each of you, a bold obedience, sensitivity, ears to hear, eyes to see everyday: an asking, seeking, knocking, humbly desiring to glorify Jesus through all we do! :).
The norm is a challenge alone! To be filled daily, moment by moment allowing the Spirit to produce fruit: love, joy, peace, patience… that can be clearly measured and observed by those around us. I pray for YOU and me, that we will be faithful to continually translate into action the principles of the gospel that we enthusiastically, joyfully, sincerely… believe and proclaim:). I love Paul’s admonishment and encouragement:
“Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.” Phil 2:12-13.
A co-participation indeed! However, how cool is it that, “God who works in you…for HIS good pleasure.” :).
We have been praying much for God’s lead. The hand of God has been evident this past two years here in Alpine and the surrounding communities. I am certain much more that I can know or reflect about. I am convinced that through the prayers of many, our local churches, Friday Morning Prayer: both sisters and brothers gathering to pray has truly moved the sovereign hand of God in obvious ways around our communities, in your heart and mine.
One recurring prayer has been unity among brothers and sisters In Christ. This was the presentation when I was invited by Joseph to pray with representatives from different fellowships among us, most of you were invited too, and now I know you and you know me!:). I am thankful!
“How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!” Psalm 133:1 Many times brothers have worshiped together singing:
Bind us together Lord
Bind us together
With cords that cannot be broken
Bind us together Lord
Bind us together Lord
Bind us together with Love
Brothers who desire to build God’s kingdom! Through our local churches, gifted men and women rising up to help build HIS kingdom. We can do more together, especially pray, pray, pray and seek to identify gifted folks and encourage some to water, others plant, etc., and many praying for God to cause the transformation and growth! Yes!
I am excited about what our gracious God is doing through us at: Mt. View Bible, Calvary chapel, First Baptist, Bethel Assembly, East Valley Christian, Emmanuel Christian, Alpine Christian Fellowship, Grace Fellowship, east county Rock,..etc., The Body of Christ empowered and being about our Father’s business…His Kingdom come, His will be done…:).
There is only one God
There is only one King
There is only one body
That is why we sing
I very much appreciate our pastors and leaders from various fellowships who I have had the opportunity to pray with and understand better their love for Jesus and the body of Christ. We continue to pray for more opportunities for Kingdom building together. A uniting to reach the lost, love many throughout our communities, especially as we lift our Lord Jesus. Pray with us more and more!
Through innovative and even traditional methods… at my church, your church, Behold & Compassionate ministries, etc., … gifted individuals, diverse, yet united in orthodoxy, excited because of the supernatural presence of our living God! Lives transformed, disciples being formed, meaningful relationships developed and pursued because God indwelling! Hunger, thirst causes us to engage!
We are the family of God
We are the promise divine
We are God’s chosen design
We are glorious new wine…
Thank you for your ongoing prayers… for we know…
“…our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
Humbly we cry out! “Not to us, O Lord, not to us but to your NAME be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.” Psalm 115:1
Persevere!
Randall:).
