Beloved In Christ,

This New Year’s Day 2016 Christians are praying together in four different locations around San Diego County! YOU are invited to join in prayer and celebration as communities of diverse folks gather to emphasize our common bond, the Gospel! At the cross, with all our diversity, we intentionally unite! The power of God manifest through the prayers of many.

Folks can attend at Mt. Soledad, Mt. Helix, Julian, or Chula Vista.

We are appealing to our pastors here in Alpine to consider attending at the Julian location, and please share with your congregations.

More specifically, if you are an Alpine Pastor/Elder/Leader and would like to bring a brief word of encouragement, highlighting the power of God in our midst, our love for the gospel, abundant grace, our call to unceasing prayer…etc., we want to invite you to pray about it, get in touch, and may God use you and others to minister to those gathering in Julian.

All are invited! Pastors, Servant-Leaders will lead us in a joy filled time of prayer and worship! A most exciting and essential pursuit as we enter the New Year!

Every New Year’s Day on two mountain tops in San Diego County, the year is started with prayer and seeking the face of GOD. This next year two new locations have been added for the New Year’s Day Prayer Summits!

We believe the LORD is saying, “I want MY Body to cry out to ME!” Will you join us? Christian leaders from every sphere of society, and some of your friends and neighbors, may be there. Will you? Let’s start the year right. Let’s start it together, by giving our first fruits offering of prayer and worship to the LORD.

10 a.m. Mt. Helix (with a prelude of worship starting at 9AM)
Join Bill Wells, Mayor of El Cajon; elected officials; pastors, and their congregations; community leaders; and business owners to pray for each of the communities of East County.

6:30 a.m. Mt. Soledad
Come and join “First Fruits Prayer and Worship” with pastors, leaders and believers in our region for a significant time of worship, God’s Word, and prayer to start off 2016 at Mt. Soledad Park, La Jolla.

8 a.m. Julian Retreat Campus (off Hwy 79, at 3731 Wynola Rd., Julian, CA 92036)
Join pastors and believers in the mountains of Julian to pray over the entire San Diego region. Join hands and hearts for the mountain cities to honor the LORD this New Year.

8 a.m. Montgomery Park (3020 Coronado Ave, San Diego, CA 92154)
Though we don’t have a mountain, we are crying out to the LORD for South County, and its cities. Come and join us as we engage the LORD, seeking HIS face for San Diego and South County.
