Louisiana Relief Effort, Update:)… August 20, 2016

Thank you for helping through your prayers for the many suffering in Louisiana. Moreover, for those led to support this effort financially, the following is an update from Chris. Right on Chris, Bob, and the many others volunteering to serve those in need, even going to demonstrate practical love for those in Baton Rouge and the surrounding flooded areas.

Thank you for helping us – help Louisiana. We have a couple of very important updates about our resource drive for LA flood victims. We are
shifting our focus to gift cards and cash donations.

We have all the freight we can carry so the plan is to drop the supplies at the shelter then take your donated gift cards and cash to retail in Mississippi and Alabama to restock the truck and bring this back to the shelter and meet those immediate needs.

We hope to be able to stock the truck 2-3 times with your help! Will you help us?

FINAL COLLECTIONS Saturday 9AM-2PM,
SUNDAY 12-4PM. 2128 Arnold Way in the OLD LIBRARY parking lot.

We want to thank Valhalla High School for gifting the people of Louisiana with
resources, but this extra effort blew us away! Students took time to write heartfelt notes of support to kids half way across the Country.

With all the snapchat/twitter handles being exchanged, new friendships will be forged. Out of a horrible disaster, people will connect. We can’t wait to deliver these to the kids in shelters.
