God’s Extended Hand Needs Help with a Leaking Roof

Compassionate Ministries has been to God’s Extended Hand. We experienced first hand this ministry of mercy to those who are homeless and hungry. Please pray that their leaking roof would be fixed in a timely fashion. Moreover, if you know someone in San Diego County that can help this downtown ministry, put your faith into action. The following is an email I received from a good friend to Compassionate Ministries. We appreciate him making the need known, so we can pray and ask our Lord to work through His people and demonstrate supernatural love.

Good Morning,
Just thought I would take a shot and put this out there in case anyone would have a lead. Gods Extended Hand is in very bad need of roofing materials to fix a part of the roof that is leaking. They have someone who will do the work. As you may know they operate very frugally from what I believe is 100% private donations. There budget is less than 300k last I checked and ALL of it goes to their program of feeding and sheltering the homeless. They are 100% volunteer. 🙂 I will be happy to coordinate the transaction if anyone can help. You can also contact Pastor Bernstein directly if you choose. He is the President of the organization. I met with him yesterday to discuss and view the problem. Their information and tax returns can be viewed at guidestar.org if anyone wants to research them. Please also feel free to forward this on to anyone who may be interested in helping.
