Friday Morning Prayer:). September 11, 2014

September 12, 2014 - 6 minutes read

“Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever want to be first must be slave to all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Mark 10:43-45

Brothers and Sisters, Family In Christ, Beloved, Faithful:)…

Friday Morning Prayer is here!:). Saturday Prayer & Worship tomorrow! Sunday Fellowship and feeding! :). All to equip, encourage, and energize us to love and serve the many and reach the lost in desperate need of Jesus! That is what we believe, not only believe, live and proclaim in every context, opportunity, relationship, given by our gracious God. Help me now! :).

Sisters are meeting for tomorrow at First Baptist: 1912 Arnold, Alpine. 0900. It is a joy, joy, joy, to hear about the ladies from various churches getting together to pray and love on each other:). United at the CROSS! If you know a sister In Christ that needs fellowship, prayer, a time of encouragement, or wants to encourage and build the body of Christ, pass on this Friday Morning Prayer meeting. To God be the Glory!

Brothers are meeting at Mt. View Bible: 2710 Alpine Blvd. Alpine. 0730. Devoted brothers have been meeting for over two years now! Praying and worshiping together! It has been a rejuvenating time for me… It is a real joy to engage with brothers week after week. We pray for each other, love one another, encourage… we need each other for sure! That is how God designed us…even with all my/our idiosyncrasies, weaknesses, strengths, gifts, insecurities, It is WE…so I am thankful for all my brothers… sisters… the family :).

We are calling the family together for a time of prayer and worship. Join together at Bethel Assembly 1929 Arnold Way, Alpine. 6pm to 8pm. This event is not a “Bethel” event. This is a “C” church event. I got that directly from Pastor Greg:). He loves the body of Christ and made reference to the “C” church… Yes! Get excited with us about believers getting together to make a greater impact for the gospel. WE can do more “Together” in many ways: reaching the lost, serving our communities, loving each other outside of our comfort zone, etc. etc.,! I need to challenge myself in this regard, so do you! Glorify our God through the pursuit of “one” In Christ…. We hold fast to orthodoxy within diversity… appreciating various gifts and styles to the glory of our God! :).

We are asking for your continued prayers in this regard. We started with a call to “unity” two plus years ago. Here we are! Our Youth Center is reaching many youth! There is a need for more volunteers… we need workers to pray about how God would use you to make a supernatural difference…. Pastors, Leaders, Worship Leaders, Under-shepherds, Evangelists, YOU, gifted by our gracious God, get in contact and let’s glorify our God together! Please Pray! We can overwhelm Alpine and the surrounding communities with Jesus! Oh how we need the power of God the Holy Spirit:).

Listen, this Saturday… come join us! This is going to be simple, yet reverent, holy, holy, holy, is our God, who we intentionally give our time, our worship and prayer for Alpine and our communities: our churches, the leadership, the body of Christ:). We need you there…so you too can be encouraged and help through your prayers and petitions of many kinds.
Would you be free from the burden of sin?
There’s pow’r in the blood, pow’r in the blood;
Would you o’er evil a victory win?
There’s wonderful pow’r in the blood.

There is pow’r, pow’r, wonder-working pow’r
In the blood of the Lamb;
There is pow’r, pow’r, wonder-working pow’r
In the precious blood of the Lamb.

Would you be free from your passion and pride?
There’s pow’r in the blood, pow’r in the blood;
Come for a cleansing to Calvary’s tide;
There’s wonderful pow’r in the blood.

Would you be whiter, much whiter than snow?
There’s pow’r in the blood, pow’r in the blood;
Sin-stains are lost in its life-giving flow;
There’s wonderful pow’r in the blood.

Would you do service for Jesus your King?
There’s pow’r in the blood, pow’r in the blood;
Would you live daily His praises to sing?
There’s wonderful pow’r in the blood.

Overflow!

LoVe YOU much!
