November 6, 2014 - 6 minutes read

You are the rock of my salvation.
You are the strength of my life.
You are my hope and my inspiration.
Lord unto You will I cry.

Brothers & Sisters In Christ:).

I pray you are encouraged through the power of our indwelling Christ as another week comes to a close. Our God is faithful through through ALL our circumstances. We believe, trust, rely on, cry out to the God who revealed the depth of His love by enduring brutal beatings, hanging on a tree, and dying to redeem us…those who shun His glory, even despise the cross… Christ bore our sins… took the blame…that YOU and me and all who will turn to God might experience a supernatural transformation… the power of the gospel! Forgiveness for inherent and willful sin… a new life In Christ!:). This is what we believe and proclaim with power and joy! :).

“He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed. For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepard and Overseer of your souls.” 1 Peter 2:24-25.

Brothers are meeting at Grace Fellowship for prayer:). 2301 S. Grade. Alpine. 0730.

Sisters are praying together art First Baptist. 1912 Arnold Way. Alpine. 0900.

A sweet hour of prayer calling us from a world of care…in seasons in distress and grief… may our souls find relief and even escape the tempter’s snare as we seek, worship, cry out, even rest in silence before our God through a short hour of prayer:). YOU are invited to join us:).

I wanted to thank, with ongoing thankfulness really… the many who receive these emails and pray for our efforts and your involvement in promoting the biblical mandate of unity, reach the lost, love those in need, serve the body, disciple, teach the word, promote the local church body, love youth, minister as the Holy Spirit leads throughout the week… the process continues! :).

I attended the Tuesday Higher Ground group this week at Joan McQueen… well I made it toward the end. Even still, Mark over at Calvary was teaching about the Third Commandment. “Do not take the Lord’s Name in vain…” There were at least 20 youth present, both boys and girls. All very attentive. The message was so very relevant and so counter to our modern culture… Yes! Youth are hearing and encouraged to live a life pleasing to our Lord and to recognize our Holy, Holy, Holy God calls us to live against the corrupted tide and shine in a dark, disregard for God world. As I looked around… I could see the inquisitive faces… truly your prayers are making a difference in the lives of youth!

I went by the Youth Center this week too… you need to know what a blessing this environment is for our youth. Go by and visit… volunteer… support… and please pray pray pray for many transformed hearts at this young age. Moreover, pray for folks like Joseph, Jonathan, Aaron, Kevin…and many other committed brothers and sisters who spend their time modeling, training, having fun, resolving conflicts, etc., everyday through the week with a diverse group of youth.

Thanksgiving EVENT: Alpine Youth Center is partnering with Bethel Assembly to provide a Thanksgiving meal! :). The plan is to have volunteers, door prizes, celebration, much thanks to our Lord for His grace in a warm atmosphere for those attending. May our Lord be glorified as we seek to serve. More information to follow as the days unfold. If you’d like to volunteer, please contact me via email or contact Joseph for further details. We are seeking folks, churches, groups, etc., to help sponsor a dinner, support our efforts to serve many in our communities.
Band of Brothers TONIGHT! 1929 Arnold Way. Alpine. 6:00pm dinner. 7:00 guest speaker. All Men invited to eat and fellowship:). Encouraging message at 0700.

Your prayers mean much and do make a difference! Keep praying: asking, seeking, knocking… to move the sovereign arm of our Holy God on behalf of many throughout our churches, communities, Bible studies, youth center, schools, etc.,

I believe in you, believe in you.
For your faithful love to me.
You have been my help
In time of need.
Lord unto You will I cleave.

You are the rock of my salvation.
You are the strength of my life.
You are my hope and my inspiration.
Lord unto You will I cry.

LoVe YOU! Much!

Your Brother In Christ! :).
