Brothers are meeting too! Join us at Grace Fellowship! 0730. 2301 South Grade Rd. Alpine. Brothers are welcome! Pastors, Elders, Leaders are welcome to join in prayer for our communities, churches, the lost, schools, etc., Moreover, we allow the Holy Spirit to lead as He determines. Humbly, we approach the throne of grace. We may sing unto our God, be silent, love a brother, but we intentionally pray, pray, pray… declaring our dependence on our Holy God.

Brothers and Sisters,
Do you long for a closer walk, hence a deeper intimacy with our Lord? Yes! You do and so do I! Once our gracious God calls you to Himself through our Lord Jesus there is an insatiable hunger and thirst. I pray you know and constantly sense this supernatural drawing of God! It is irresistible, powerful! Grace!
Wednesday morning, 0730 at McDonalds, we met… brothers… you know… iron sharpens iron, accountability, encouragement… It was evident to me, and I absolutely get fired up when I see brothers wanting to “walk close to Thee.” Heck, I get excited about brothers, sisters, teens, children… ALL people expressing hunger and thirst for God! We proclaim loudly… our God is gracious and loves YOU! He wants a deeper intimacy and orchestrates our lives to ensure intimacy, especially as we cry out for His abundant grace and mercy.
Walking close to Thee implies hearing our God as he directs, staying sensitive, humble, willing, open to the Spirit’s direction. Well, unfortunately I fail at most turns. I am in process, daily renewed by the transforming of my mind. Truly, “I need Thee, oh I need Thee, every hour I need Thee…” What helps me in my failing to heed to the Holy Spirit? My faithful brothers and sisters are a necessary help.
This morning I said hi to a gentleman as I was leaving MacDonalds. He smiled and started talking, but I just turned and walked to greet another familiar face. My brother observed this insensitivity. He asked me what was up! I truly did not register what I had done until Joseph pointed it out. Therefore, at the Spirit’s prompt I went back in and engaged with Steve. It then became evident why I was cordial, but not engaging. He was a transient and a little disorganized. However, we did pray together and I encouraged him in the Name of Jesus!
The writer of Hebrews reminds us, “Keep on loving each other as brothers. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by doing so some people have entertained angels without knowing it.” 13:1-2. Certainly, if Steve was an angel I did not know it. I almost missed a precious opportunity to pray with this fella.
My prayer, even now as you read through this email, is that you have brothers or sisters to love you and keep you accountable. Ideally, you find this type of necessary fellowship in your local church, a small group, or even one to one with a spirit filled and intentional brother/sister In Christ. If we can help get you connected, let us know. Really!
One more experience. Band of Brothers-tonight! I was scheduled to share in April. Our brother Robert called to ask if I could share tonight. What! Only a one day, hours really, notice? Of course I will! You see, Paul wrote to Timothy, “…I give you this charge: Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke, and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.” 2 Tim 4:1b-2. Pray with me, your prayers matter, necessary, and are very much valued!
I love to encourage, and do believe God has given me the gift of encouragement. I am thankful for the privilege to encourage brothers from the community gathering at Bethel. Therefore, if you are a brother, or if you know men who need to be encouraged and experience the supernatural love of God, invite and come join us for food, fellowship, praise and worship and encouragement through preaching the Word. Hope to see you there!
