Friday Morning Prayer:). July 4, 2014
July 6, 2014 - 5 minutes read All hail the pow’r of Jesus’ Name!
Let angels prostrate fall;
Bring forth the royal diadem,
And crown Him Lord of all!
Beloved In Christ,
My sincere prayer is that you are overflowing through the power of the Spirit always!:).
Friday Prayer: Brothers In Christ are meeting to pray and worship at Emmanuel Christian. Location: Old Ironsides County Park in Harbison Canyon. Right off Harbison Canyon Road at E. Noakes. The Park is directly across from the little store at Harbison Canyon. Parking is available right across from the store as well.
A nice park and perfect for a time of prayer and worship, especially as the weather is warmer. Therefore, come and enjoy the presence of our God while in the company of faithful brothers:).
Sisters In Christ are meeting to pray and worship on Friday July 4, as well!:) They are meeting at First Baptist. 1912 Arnold Way at 0900. Join them to intentionally pray for our communities and encourage one another.
This is what we believe! Yes! All hail the pow’r of Jesus’ Name! Let angels prostrate fall; Bring forth the royal diadem, And crown Him Lord of all! OF ALL! We believe all people need to know our Lord Jesus as their LORD! We believe our God is sovereign, full of mercy, supernaturally draws people, calling them into intimate fellowship with Jesus. Paul said, “God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” 1 Cor 1:9
Even for those who are resistant, rebellious, mocking toward the way, truth, life found only in Jesus, Peter writes, “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with YOU, not wanting (desiring) anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” Therefore, we PRAY, PRAY, PRAY asking our merciful God to transform the rebellious and hardened hearts all around us: our family members, co-workers, neighbors, etc.., Through God’s sovereign will, his “delay” in returning, hence patience means salvation for many! And, that glorious, powerful, work of God the Holy Spirit by God’s grace we, IN Christ, are allowed to observe and even participate as we faithfully speak in obedience.
Who is God drawing and supernaturally transforming through me? Is it okay for us to pray for the sovereign arm of God to move in the lives of those around us? YES! And, in obedience we humbly cry out for saving mercy for those lost and spiritually dead in their sin. I was there! God saved me! Praise You God! Thank you! You were there! God saved you! Praise God! Thank you for my brothers and sisters In Christ! He wants to grant repentance and faith to people just like you and me. This is exciting! We have the privilege of sharing, loving, overflowing to others a never ending message of mercy and grace:).
“Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my sighing. Listen to my cry for help, my King and my God, for to you I pray. In the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation.” Psalm 5:1-3
