What can wash away my sin?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
What can make me whole again?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

O precious is the flow
that makes me white as snow;
no other fount I know;
nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Sisters are meeting to pray together! First Baptist. 1912 Arnold Way. 0900. If you can’t make it, pray for our sisters representing different churches. We value your prayers throughout the week. Praise God for those who walk humbly and obediently… Thank you! Your prayers matter and make a sovereign difference!

Brothers are praying as well! Join us if you can! Alpine Youth Center/Youth Venture. 2153 Arnold Way. Alpine. 0730. It is a joy to meet with faithful brothers week after week and pray. Yes! We share for a moment…but we intentionally pray… At holy time of asking, seeking, knocking… many times in complete silence! As the Holy Spirit leads is our sincere desire.

Faithful In Christ,

As we read through the book of Esther the sovereign hand of God is ever so clear. Haman manipulated an evil plot to destroy the Jewish people with King Xerxes’ full knowledge. Mordecai trusted the sovereignty of God in delivering the Jewish people. For example, he said to Esther, “For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish.” Moreover, He said, “And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” 4:14

The sovereignty of God will prevail always! However, we have been given the responsibility to engage…that too reflecting the sovereign grace of our holy God. Prior to talking to Esther, Mordecai cried out loudly…even prostrate before our gracious God…in sackcloth and ashes! Prayer! Crying out! Pleading for the mercy of God!

Salvation for those perishing: our loved ones, our neighbors, those in our churches, even the “good” folks all around us! Esther knew. The first thing she had to do was call for fasting and prayer. She asked many to gather, and she too with her maids were determined to fast and pray… 3 days of fasting.. day and night! v. 16

Prayer to move the sovereign hand of God! Much prayer resulted in supernatural courage that superseded Esther’s natural fears. She acted! Our prayers move God and God moves us! I know our God is merciful, gracious, and loved us so much He sacrificed Jesus. Our Lord Jesus is incarnate love who offers redemption, regeneration, a holy righteousness, justification, ongoing transformation!

People need to know the gospel! Through the cross we are made new and experience peace with God. How awesome is that! Therefore, trusting and within the sovereign plan of God we fervently pray, and pray…and pray more! 🙂 How desperately we need our God! The lost even more! May God use each of us to facilitate the only deliverance that brings supernatural comfort and hope to a depraved and declining humanity, even eternal life!

Yes, the life of faith is a happy life, and
if attended with conflicts–there is an assurance of victory;
if we sometimes get a wound–there is healing balm near at hand;
if we seem to fall–we are raised again; and
if tribulations abound–consolations shall abound likewise.

Is it not happiness–to have an infallible Guide, an invincible Guard, an almighty Friend! to be able to say of the Maker of heaven and earth, “He is my Beloved, my Shepherd, my Savior, and my Husband!”

Oh the peace that flows from believing . . .
that all events in which we are concerned, are under His immediate disposal;
that the hairs of our head are all numbered;
that He delights in our prosperity;
that there is a need-be, if we are in heaviness, and
that all things shall surely work for our good!

Letters of John Newton.

For my pardon this I see:
nothing but the blood of Jesus.
For my cleansing this my plea:
nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Nothing can for sin atone:
nothing but the blood of Jesus.
Naught of good that I have done:
nothing but the blood of Jesus

This is all my hope and peace:
nothing but the blood of Jesus.
This is all my righteousness:
nothing but the blood of Jesus

LoVe YOU! MUCH!

Thanks for allowing me to reflect with you! I sincerely pray… our God of abundant grace… encourages your heart always….

Randall:)
