Just a closer walk with Thee,
Grant it, Jesus, is my plea,
Daily walking close to Thee,
Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.

Not to us, O Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.
I love the Lord, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy.
Praise the Lord, all you nations; extol him, all you peoples.
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.
Blessed are they whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the Lord.
I call on the Lord in my distress, and he answers me.
I lift up my eyes to the hills—where does my help come from?
I rejoiced with those who said to me, ‘Let us go to the house of the Lord.’
Verse 1 of Psalm 115, 116, 117, 118, 119, 120, 122, 123

Our faithful sisters are uniting to pray! Yes! First Baptist. 1912 Arnold Way. 0900. You are invited! A recognition, “You are my portion, O Lord; I have promised to obey your words. I have sought your face with all my heart; be gracious to me according to your promise.” 119:57-58

Faithful brothers are praying too! First Baptist. 0730. Powerful! When devoted men get together to seek our God! Humble, we pray together… intentionally crying out… praying…
Holy Spirit lead our short time together is our constant prayer. “Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people the sheep of his pasture.” 100:3. You are invited to come with thanksgiving, and praise…. Let us proclaim together… “For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.” v. 5 Amen!

Brothers and Sisters,

May you find solace and even give much comfort, even cheer to others through the reading and sharing of the Psalms. Through these inspired writings we learn to praise our God! He alone is sovereign, merciful, gracious, especially to those who cry out to Him! Through prayer, praise, worship… we sing! His abundant love is never ending! Therefore, “Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done.” 105:1 Truly, we were created to “Sing to him, sing praise to him…Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. [!] v. 2-4.

In reading the Psalms we see that purity is maintained… “By living according to your word….” In seeking God with “all my heart” and hiding God’s “word in my heart” helps us not sin against our holy God. 119:9b-11. Moreover, we can echo with David… “Set a guard over my mouth, O Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips. Let not my heart be drawn to what is evil.” 141:3-4a. Furthermore, “O Lord, hear my prayer, listen to my cry for mercy; in your faithfulness and righteousness come to my relief.” 143: 1. How about honesty before our Lord, “O Lord, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.” 139:1-3. May we confidently proclaim in word and deed, “Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in his ways.”

I am weak, but Thou art strong;
Jesus, keep me from all wrong;
I’ll be satisfied as long
As I walk, let me walk close to Thee.

Just a closer walk with Thee,
Grant it, Jesus, is my plea,
Daily walking close to Thee,
Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.

Through this world of toil and snares,
If I falter, Lord, who cares?
Who with me my burden shares?
None but Thee, dear Lord, none but Thee.

When my feeble life is o’er,
Time for me will be no more;
Guide me gently, safely o’er
To Thy kingdom shore, to Thy shore.

Hope many can make it to pray… it is exciting and makes a difference when many gather to pray:).

A supernatural difference to God’s glory!

LoVe Others! MUCH!

Randall:).
