Friday Morning Prayer:). August 21, 2014
August 23, 2014 - 5 minutes readRejoice in the Lord always,
and again I say, Rejoice!
Rejoice in the Lord always,
and again I say, Rejoice!
Rejoice! Rejoice!
And again I say, Rejoice!
Rejoice! Rejoice!
And again I say, Rejoice!
Faithful Brothers and Sisters,
I pray your cup is overflowing this week! Singing the above song to each other with enthusiasm and vigor is good for our souls and certainly pleasing to our Lord:). Moreover, we sing! “Not to us O Lord, Not to us O Lord, to Your Name be the GLORY! What we proclaim is not ourselves…[NO!] oh …we proclaim the Holy Name of Jesus! Not to us O Lord, Not to us O Lord, but to Your Name be the GLORY!” Furthermore! “Praise the Lord, oh my soul…I will praise the Lord as long as I live…I will sing praises to my God…Even with my dying breath:)”
Friday Morning Prayer: Brothers are meeting at Mt. View Bible. 2710 Alpine Blvd. Alpine. 0730 for a time of prayer and worship together to the Glory of our God In Christ! :). If you can make it, please do come join. If not, pray pray pray with us as we seek the Lord on behalf of our communities, our churches, para-church ministries, Body of Christ, and just a renewed LOVE for each other as brothers UNITED at the CROSS! :).
Sisters In Christ are NOT meeting this week at First Baptist. Next week! :). Aug 29, 2014.
He is the One who made Heaven and earth
The sea and everything in it
He is the One who keeps every promise forever
He gives justice to the oppressed
And set the prisoners free
He is the One who feeds the hungry
And opens the eyes of the blind
He lifts up the burdens of those beneath heavy loads
The stranger, He protects
And the righteous one He loves
(By Natalie Grant & Laura Story ~ Praise the Lord)
I find myself hungry and thirsty more and more these days! What is our gracious God saying to you, me? Our supernatural journey of faith, yet evidences of our God all around us, especially through the Living Word! :). Today’s verse encouraged
my heart: Psalm 42:8
By day the Lord directs his love,
at night his song is with me—
a prayer to the God of my life.
You probably know the song based on Psalm 42: Reflect, enjoy, ask, seek, knock always:)….
As the deer panteth for the water
So my soul longeth after thee
You alone are my heart’s desire
And I long to worship thee
You alone are my strength, my shield
To you alone may my spirit yield
You alone are my heart’s desire
And I long to worship thee
You’re my friend and you are my brother
Even though you are a king
I love you more than any other
So much more than anything
You alone are my strength, my shield
To you alone may my spirit yield
You alone are my heart’s desire
And I long to worship you
I want you more than gold or silver,
only you can satisfy.
You alone are the real joygiver
and the apple of my eye.
You alone are my strength, my shield
To you alone may my spirit yield
You alone are my heart’s desire
And I long to worship you
I sincerely pray, even as I type this email, that as you go through this life, with many ups and downs, you indeed will remember the greatness of OUR God! He has promised to empower, and sustain according to His plan for your life In Christ!
Let us know what we can pray for you about… send a note if you need: a word of encouragement, love from a brother, or just need to overflow! :). WE need each other daily! And, we serve those in need!
Keep the fire burning!
Thank you MUCH for your ongoing prayers:). We know the prayers of many make a sovereign difference!
Persevere!
Your Brother In Christ,
Randall:).
