…This is my story… this is my song… Praising my Savior all the day long…this is my story… this is my song Praising my Savior all the day long… Blessed Assurance …. watching and waiting looking above…filled with his goodness and lost in his love…YES!… this is my story…this is my song…PRAISING my Savior all the day long!

What a friend we have in Jesus… all our sins and griefs to bear! What a privilege to carry EVERYTHING to God in prayer! …Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere? …May we ever Lord be bringing all to Thee in earnest prayer…. Soon in glory bright unclouded…There will be no need for prayer–Rapture, praise and endless worship will be our sweet portion there:).

Beloved Brothers and Sisters,

I sincerely pray that your are overflowing this week, being renewed day by day, especially as you pray for many opportunities to shine brightly, Christ, to those in darkness. Paul makes it clear that it is through God’s mercy that we can even have a ministry to reach out the those in darkness, 2 Cor 4:1. Moreover, we proclaim the gospel truth plainly with every opportunity. However, the sad reality is that those in darkness are blind. “The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” v. 4

Therefore, our unceasing prayer is for God’s mercy. He is merciful to you and me! In fact, because of His MERCY He, …”made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.” v. 6b Holy, Holy, Holy God, we ask for Your mercy on the many many who are blinded by the god of this age. We especially pray for those in our sphere of influence. Yes, Lord, I believe only by a person being “IN CHRIST” is the veil removed and blind minds are transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory through Your supernatural power…AMEN. May we pray for this kind of transforming mercy! And, I pray for BOLDNESS to speak what we believe in every context of our lives!

I am not capable! Praise God! “…we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all surpassing POWER is from God and not from us.” v. 7 I pray you do not lose heart! Paul recognizes this life is tough and trials and temptations are all around. In fact, he said, ‘…outwardly we are wasting away, YET, inwardly we are being renewed day by day….” v. 16

This past Sunday I had the opportunity to share on “Prayer.” What to pray for everyday? The take home message was to pray for POWER…all surpassing POWER to effectively live and breath our IN CHRIST lives. I encourage you brother and sister, pray pray pray daily for the POWER of the Holy Spirit and renew day by day. “All this is for your benefit, so that the GRACE that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the GLORY of God.[!] v. 15 :).
