Friday Morning Prayer: April 3, 2014

May 18, 2014 - 4 minutes read

Beloved Brothers In Christ,

Let us embrace the words of David and pray with confidence: “I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; BE STRONG and TAKE HEART and wait for the Lord.” Psalm 27:13-14

YES! We wait patiently, but never stagnantly, for that which is certain, though not yet seen. When evil prevails we proclaim, “The Lord is my light and my salvation- whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life- of whom shall I be afraid?” v. 1

In Christ, we can’t help but to proclaim Him! Paul said, “To this end I labor, struggling with all his energy, which so powerfully works in me.” Col 1:29 In fact, “…you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, WHO IS YOUR LIFE, appears, then you will also appear with him in glory.” 3:3-4.

Brothers and sisters, may you thirst for and seek, every moment of everyday, LIVING WATER that flows and brings fresh desirable aroma to those without Christ. Lord, help us to seek your face and cry out for mercy for those spiritually dead in their sins, especially those YOU are stirring to repentance within my sphere of influence.

Today, I said to a elderly lady moving slowly down the stairs, “one step at a time sweet Jesus.” :). I offered her a Daily Bread devotional. She said, “I am not into organized religion.” I in turn said, “Neither am I, I am into Jesus.” She wouldn’t take the devotional, but we spoke for a few more minutes. She said she was raised Catholic, which gave me a chance to emphasize the CROSS. I am sure I will see her again at the gym. May the Lord be merciful and soften her, and kindness lead her to repentance.
