Fairest Lord Jesus, Ruler of all nature,
O Thou of God and man the Son,
Thee will I cherish, Thee will I honor,
Thou, my soul’s glory, joy and crown.

Beautiful Savior! Lord of all the nations!
Son of God and Son of Man!
Glory and honor, praise, adoration,
Now and forevermore be Thine.

Sisters are meeting at First Baptist. 1912 Arnold Way. Alpine. 0900. Join our faithful sisters to pray! Much prayer for our churches: pastors, elders, leaders. Lifting our congregations, the worship team, the Sunday school teachers, faithful workers, the many behind the scenes, etc., Moreover, gals come to be encouraged and love one another… a special time to develop friendships and learn how to carry the burdens of others through prayer. YOU are invited!

Brothers are meeting at Bethel Assembly. 1929 Arnold Way. Alpine. 0730. Yes! Your are invited! A time of disciplined prayer! It is tough at times to earnestly seek the face of God in a group of social men:). However, we love one another, encourage, allow God the Holy Spirit to move in our midst! Please come with a sense of expectation. No agenda, no distractions… humble men of God desiring to bring glory and honor to Jesus! If brothers need fellowship and have need for resources, referrals, or just additional time for love and encouragement… let us know… we will make time to be obedient to love our brothers, with overflowing joy! Ask, seek, knock with brothers! A necessary and holy time.

Servants In Christ,

“Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him.” May your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord, even as we put our hope in you.”[1] Moreover! “Love the Lord, all his saints! The Lord preserves the faithful, but the proud he pays back in full. Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.”[2]

Yes! I pray you too find yourself many times throughout the day singing joyfully unto our Holy God. It is fitting! YOU! Righteous In Christ! Praise Him! How desperately we need the unfailing supernatural love of God to rest upon us. Always! Blessed Assurance Jesus is mine! Oh what a foretaste of glory divine! Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood! This is my story! This is my Song! OUR HOPE! Praising my Savior all the day long!

A question was asked by our youth. What is the meaning of life? What is my purpose? Man! What opportunity! Through the Youth Center/Venture or Higher Ground at Joan McQueen brothers and sisters are able to address such important life questions. “Love the Lord, all his saints!” That’s right… the purpose of this life is to love the Lord our God with all our being! And, we are called to genuinely love others. Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”[3]

Furthermore, it is our chief end to glorify our God with our lives and enjoy Him forever! [4] How cool is that?! God, Holy, Holy, Holy, God, He invites us, stirs our hearts, draws us unto Himself, to love Him more and more…even enjoy Him forever! WOW! Humble we come! Not only humble, but holy. A “saint,” we are referred to as saints unto God. We are called to holiness, empowered by our Holy God! We are not of this world, we are set apart, consecrated… pursuing holiness in all we do! Not just at church! NO! Always! Our God who calls us to Himself… He now in the person of the Holy Spirit has taken up His abode in the heart of every regenerate person. We are supernaturally compelled, yet we have to freely choose to engage, hence co-participate in this process of becoming more and more holy!

Prayer! Secret prayer! Making the time to ask, seek, knock… cry out to our Holy God… therein we experience the reality of God’s presence. The comfort, joy, excitement, even conviction, a recognition of my feebleness, desperation… Our Father knows… I am weak, yet In Him I am strong! Lord, No distractions, no calls, no other items to deal with… discipline! Help me Lord! I need Thee, O how much I need Thee. Beloved, be encouraged! We cling to the promises of God! Find much, much comfort through the Word of God!

“Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered…. When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night your hand was heavy upon me; my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer. THEN, I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, ‘I will confess my transgressions to the Lord’—and you forgave the guilt of my sin. THEREFORE, let everyone who is godly pray to you while you may be found;”[5]

Fair are the meadows, fairer still the woodlands,
Robed in the blooming garb of spring;
Jesus is fairer, Jesus is purer,
Who makes the woeful heart to sing.

Fair is the sunshine, fairer still the moonlight,
And all the twinkling starry host;
Jesus shines brighter, Jesus shines purer
Than all the angels heav’n can boast.

All fairest beauty, heavenly and earthly,
Wondrously, Jesus, is found in Thee;
None can be nearer, fairer or dearer,
Than Thou, my Savior, art to me.[6]

WE Exhalt Thee! WE Exhalt Thee! Yes! I Exhalt Thee! O Lord, our mighty, all powerful, Holy God! We give thanks with a grateful heart! Always!
