Friday Morning Prayer: April 16, 2014

Faithful Brothers and Sisters In Christ,

Oh Lord my God when I in awesome wonder consider…. Then sings my soul… How great thou art! How great thou art! Then sings my soul my Savior God to thee…How great thou art! How great thou art! YES! YES! YES! How great thou art! :).

“The precepts of the Lord are right, giving JOY to the heart…. They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the comb….” Psalm 19:8-10. As you feed on the sweetness of God’s Word and prayerfully seek Him with your whole heart… may supernatural JOY be only the beginning of your great reward!

Men’s Friday Morning Prayer is meeting at Calvary Chapel located at 2267 West Victoria Dr. Alpine. YOU are invited to come worship our Great, powerful, merciful, gracious, compassionate, forgiving, empowering… God, especially as we depend on Him to lead our time of prayer together.

We meet at 0730 for a time of fellowship, expressions of love, encouragement and sharing. Around 0745 join us wherever you are in prayer…we pray in the Spirit together…trusting our Lord through the process and for the outcome, even the outcomes we may not readily see or personally experience.

More Prayer! :). Friday Morning Women’s Prayer is meeting at 0900. Their first meeting will be at the Alpine Youth Center, located at 2153 Arnold Way, Alpine. Sisters In Christ from local fellowships and surrounding communities are invited to join in prayer. This is very EXCITING! Pray it forward and overflow to others this move of the Spirit to pray! If your are a sister In Christ YOU are invited!:). Oh what a privilege to carry everything to God in Prayer!

Prayer: WE know that intentionally and deliberately praying together results in SUPERNATURAL POWER that is manifest however God determines: our strong desire is that many many residents of Alpine and the surrounding communities would be drawn to Christ! We earnestly pray for our youth, families, individuals, singles, married couples….Moreover, we pray for the spiritually empty, those needing RENEWAL and POWER to live out their faith! May many develop and nurture relationships through local fellowships, small group Bible studies, etc., We pray for an overwhelming presence and saturation of God the Holy Spirit…that people may know “How great thou art!” throughout Alpine and the surrounding communities.

Indeed! He has Risen! :). God use us this Resurrection Sunday celebration to overflow to those around us! May the love of Christ be so supernaturally evident in our fellowships that others will know how great thou art! Amen.

Please continue to pray for our local churches: Pastors, Elders, Deacons, Teachers, Worship Leaders, Evangelists, Youth Leaders: Thank you Lord for our gifted men and women in our churches!
