Encouragement~Prayer:). October 27, 2014.
October 27, 2014 - 7 minutes readYou choose the humble and raise them high
You choose the weak and make them strong
You heal our brokenness inside
And give us life
Brothers & Sisters,
“Sing joyfully to the Lord you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise Him. Praise the Lord with the harp; make music to Him on the ten-stringed lyre. Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy. [!] :). For the word of the Lord is right and true; He is faithful in all He does. [Our] Lord loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of His unfailing love.” Psalm 33:1-5
I pray you have a song in your heart all week, praising our Lord from the overflow of His abundant grace in your life. Do you recognize it? God’s grace manifest in every area of our lives, our being, our existence, my boys, your sons, daughters, our families, spouses, friends, co-workers, brothers and sisters In Christ! On and on the list goes! Thankful:). Praise Him!
With tears…sometimes we just don’t understand God’s sovereign plan… we ask why? Pain, suffering, little children suffering: abuse, neglect, accidents…sickness, cancer, disease, etc., etc., evil prevailing despite our pleas… Yes, we are challenged to hold fast, pray through the “whys” trust through the inconceivable, the unthinkable going on all around us! We continue to trust because of supernatural transformation! I am not my own, nor are you… you belong to Christ…He is sovereign… loves You and me drawing us closer to Himself, especially through our difficult circumstances. I love Paul Baloche’s song:
The same love that set the captives free
The same love that opened eyes to see
Is calling us all by name
You are calling us all by name
The same God that spread the heavens wide
The same God that was crucified
Is calling us all by name
You are calling us all by name
Lord, help me and those reading through this email to stand firm, strong In Christ through the “tests” of this life. Mature us as You determine, humbly we continuously cry out for mercy for the lost and abundant grace to persevere through our trials…Amen. Our brother David, my cousin let me know that Julissa has brain damage. However, she is undergoing intensive therapy in attempts to re-awaken the intricacies of her magnificent brain.
Therefore, we keep praying for healing, for neurons to fire and help this precious little girl to have the opportunity to glorify our God through her life. David wrote, “…I was thinking of her and I swear I heard a voice say, “Glorify Me.” Yes you did brother! And, we do just that… Glorify our God who is worthy of all our praise… through trial and tribulation… peace and harmony… always He alone is worthy of glory and our never ending praise!
From Your head down Your face
From Your hands to Your feet
Your blood ran down
Your blood ran down
Your blood ran down for me
Pray with me to know our God more intimately…not just know, but to experience our God always as Father, comforter, encourager, motivator, One who empowers, enables us to hear His voice… oh how I long to commune with our gracious God…you do too… to wake daily with an assurance that our sovereign God has You in His hand, will direct, guide, help us discern, even bring folks into our midst who need to hear the gospel, experience love, the touch of God through our hands, feet, listening ear, gentle touch… However God wants to orchestrate… I and you, we:)…want to have a supernatural sensitivity to His prompting, and always hunger for more and more of Him and less and less of me… help us Lord, mold, shape, as we humbly surrender and gather around the cross… Amen.
You’re calling You’re calling
You’re calling us to the cross
You’re calling You’re calling
You’re calling us to the cross
One last partial song from Paul Baloche that reflects so much a hungry heart for our gracious God:).
With groaning, too deep the words
I am for You, I yearn for You
With all of my weakness, I come
In need of You, in need of You
Savior, save me
Healer, heal me
Jesus, have your way
King of glory, reign in me
Reign in me
I surrender to You alone
Your will be done
Your will be done
With all of my heart I restart
My life to You
It’s all for You
Be encouraged where ever our Lord has you through this supernatural journey In Christ. We keep praying: asking, seeking, knocking all the time to move the sovereign arm of our God on behalf of those we love, the lost, our leaders, churches, communities, …. God, work through each of us to transform, with supernatural power, people, families, sons, daughters, the wayward, oh God…. help us to have Your heart for ALL those you bring across our paths. Amen.
Overflow!
LoVe You! Much!
