Encouragement ~ Prayer:). August 20, 2014

Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.

Faithful In Christ,

Paul encourages us in Romans 8: In Christ, through the power of God the indwelling Holy Spirit, as God’s children we don’t have to fear this life or events, circumstances, unknowns, etc., We have “received the Spirit of sonship.” This speaks to all Christians! My brothers and sisters, all of us “adopted” with full inheritance rights because of God’s grace:). Wow! Moreover, we are able to experience God as “Abba Father” v.15, and CRY out in the Spirit who testifies with our spirit, YOU are God’s child and In Christ, have a personal, loving, nurturing, merciful, compassionate, Father who understands all my quirks, besetting sins, selfish ways, yet loves us as Christ, and empowers me/you to pursue holiness. He hears, comforts, directs, giving us more grace to endure day by day.

Cry out! I love when Paul writes, “…the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.” v. 26 Paul also wrote, “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for ALL the saints.” Eph 6:18.

O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There’s light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free.

Many of us, including YOU have been praying for some time now for Alpine and the surrounding communities. Friday Morning Prayer: both brothers and sisters meeting faithfully to pray for the Body of Christ, our local churches, leadership, residents, youth, etc., The prayers of many have resulted in folks getting fired up for Christ! The Alpine Youth Center is an obvious result of much prayer. I appeal to you brothers and sisters to keep praying and ask others to pray too!

We need ongoing supernatural power to effectively work, love, comfort, teach, preach, train, equip, discern, etc., in whatever context God places us. Allow me to encourage you, if you are not tied into Body of Christ: serving, growing in the Word, building relationships, loving others, being loved, making disciples, praying with like minded brothers or sisters, then we want to help you get connected and become part of a local church family.

Joseph and I love the Body of Christ all around us, manifested through various local churches. We very much appreciate pastors, Mark, Greg, Eric, Jon, Mark, Jack, Ray, Rod, Jeff, Ron, Dean, David, Bob, etc., and Spirit filled men who step up and lead and love others in their congregations, at the Youth Center, through groups, etc., Kevin, Jonathan, Bob, Robert, Gary, Daryl, etc., our sisters too: Mindy, Trudy, Barb, Jessica, Margaret, just to mention a few that serve the Body of Christ and are always willing to pray, serve, help in any way that glorifies our God! Thank You ALL!

I speak for Joseph and myself in this regard: You are loved and we pray pray pray that this supernatural love will only increase more and more as we serve together the Body of Christ and reach out to the lost throughout Alpine and the surrounding communities.

I appreciate all the words of encouragement from you, my brothers and sisters In Christ!:). I always long to encourage each of you and pray you experience the supernatural joy in ALL circumstances. Rejoice always!:).

Through death into life everlasting
He passed, and we follow Him there;
O’er us sin no more hath dominion
For more than conqu’rors we are!

His Word shall not fail you, He promised;
Believe Him and all will be well;
Then go to a world that is dying,
His perfect salvation to tell!

LoVe YOU much!

Randall:).
