Encouragement and Prayer:): April 13, 2014
May 18, 2014 - 4 minutes readBeloved Brothers and Sisters In Christ,
According to Matthew 21:9 “The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, ‘Hosanna to the Son of David!’ Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!
“…the whole city was stirred and asked, ‘Who is this?’..” v.10b This is our God! Humble, hence riding on a colt of a donkey; compassionate and deeply caring for us who would have readily rejected Him once things failed to go the way we perceived they should have according to our own understanding. The same struggle within us goes on today! Therefore, GRACE! God knows our fickle nature, and tendency toward sin, yet HE LOVES YOU and empowers YOU to persevere In Christ!
Luke 19:38 “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest! Moreover, as the disciples were joyfully praising God in loud voices…:), the Pharisees wanted it to stop… Jesus said, “I tell you…if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.”
I encourage you to “cry out” today! Praise our God and experience the joy of your salvation:). Our God, the Lord Jesus has come! Unfortunately, many do not recognize the time of God’s coming. Therefore, brother and sister, may we find ourselves many times praying, hurting, and crying for those who need to experience the GRACE of God In Christ.
I also pray that you are surrounding yourself with like minded brothers or sisters who encourage you daily to persevere, get excited, shout for joy, or just hang out in time of troubles…. One idea of the following Hebrews passage is like a relay race where those who have finished their course and handed in their baton are watching and encouraging their successors v. 1a.
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.” Hebrews 12:1-3.
Prayer: sisters in Christ are meeting to pray on Fridays Mornings at 0900. Their first meeting is this Friday the 18th. If you are a “sister in Christ” YOU are invited! “A sweet hour of prayer!” I am certain it will be an encouraging time of fellowship. And, if you have children, they want to work out accomodations. Please contact Mindy Thomas with questions. (619) 445-2269
Praying that sisters in Christ from each local fellowship will be able to join to pray, pray, pray, praise, praise, praise our Savior all the day long:).
I will confirm the location by this Wednesday. Most likely the first meeting will be at the Alpine Youth Center.
Wherever HE leads I will follow! :). I love to tell the old old story! When we all get to heaven what a day of rejoicing that will be…when we all see Jesus… we will sing and shout the victory…! Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus and take Him at His word…JESUS JESUS precious JESUS oh for grace to trust Him more!…:)….
Be encouraged In Christ!
Love You Much!
Randall
