Encourage, Pray, Invitation…In Christ! March 18, 2014
May 18, 2014 - 4 minutes readBeloved Brothers In Christ,
I pray this email brings you encouragement. Thank you brothers and sisters for praying with us for Alpine and the surrounding communities: we ask, seek, and knock continuously for many many people to experience salvation through the power of our Lord Jesus!
We are many, yet we are ONE, we are seperate yet bound in his love, and together we are all his hands and his feet, bringing mercy and peace to this world…. We are many and one!
Be amazed by our God! How much He loves you is well beyond our capacity to grasp:).
“Sing to the Lord, you saints of his; praise his holy name. For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.” Psalm 30:4-5
This past Friday we highlighted the biblical truth, “we are called to live differently.” Different from our depraved tendency and the way of the world. In fact, the writer of Hebrews said, “Keep on loving each other as brothers. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.”
Rejoice! God loves you and empowers you to love others, even the seemingly unloveable in our midst. Moreover, “But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all surpassing power is from God and not from us….” (II Cor. 4:7)
“…Therefore, we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day” (v. 16). I pray you too are being renewed daily, especially through your fellowship: we need our brothers and sisters in Christ. Moreover, renewed daily through the Living Word:). “I rejoice in following your statues as one rejoices in great riches. I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways.” (Psalm 119:14-15)
PRAY WITHOUT CEASING:
Local Churches: Pastors, Elders, Deacons, Leaders, Teachers: may our leadership be renewed Lord through your power!
Youth Center: may many youth be drawn to Christ through the faithful workers. And, may many be transformed supernaturally, even their parents we pray. We also pray that families would hunger and thirst for righteousness and get established in a local church.
Nothing supernatural happens without much prayer! So, by God’s grace through living faith we pray pray pray and trust God to draw many to Himself through us:).
Please continue to mention the following brothers and sisters in your prayers: These are our brothers in sisters in Christ living here in Alpine and attending one of the local evangelical churches:
Sue Jenkins
Peter Larson
Ann Madden
Ron Kisner’s son Codie
Bob Cole
Dean Kalieo
Bernard Honders
Gerard Honders
Jeff Brown
Finally, Do not Forget: Celebration with Bernard Honders and his son Gerard. This Friday, the 21st, at the Youth Center around 6pm. We are planning to grill and enjoy fellowship! Our brother Andrew suggested a potluck: bring a sidedish and we’ll provide the meat:). RSVP so we can plan accordingly. Hope you can make it!
Peace and Joy Overflowing,
your brother In Christ,
Randall:).
