Last year the Rock Church homeless ministry and various volunteers
went out into our homeless community on Christmas morning to show love
to our homeless community. We meet at 3rd and Elm Street downtown at
6:30 am. All those interested bring whatever breakfast or item you
would like to share with our homeless community to say Merry Christmas.
We are usually out there for an hour and a half and we go to various
locations. This year again we will outreach to our homeless neighbors
by the downtown library by 9th street.

On at least three occasions in September and October, the suit claims that San Diego police officers and city crews threw grocery carts and other belongings in the trash while the homeless were receiving services from downtown churches and centers.Read More
And I thought some of these were great !!!
Here are my top 40 things I think you give us all HUGE benefits:
1. Take a 10-30 minute walk every day. And while you walk, smile. It is the ultimate anti-depressant.
2. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day

Thank you Christian brothers and sisters who came out to Balboa Park and demonstrated your Living Faith by loving/serving the poor and needy!
We served over 150 people in need on Nov 21, 2009. WOW! Praise God for His provision!
We appreciate all the volunteers from Mountain View Bible Church! We also are thankful for the Christians who came from UCSD to help serve.
The more hands involved in serving, the more efficient the workload flows.
We will be looking forward to our next outreach in February 2010.Read More
